Blog for play reports, casual reviews, and DM-facing stuff that would otherwise only ever live in my own head.
When I was in high school in the early 2000s we played a game called Hackmaster 4e, which was sort of a parody version of AD&D 2e (which I never played) from a comic called Knights of the Dinner Table (which I never read). The rules system was really wild--if memory serves (which it very well might not!) there was a class called the Knight-Errant whose main ability was that he could do awful things to people and then just apologize and be forgiven. Anyway, our group of murder hobos developed two main policies: (1) when we got to a new town we always picked a fight with the mayor and (2) we always kicked down every door.
